To the Fire Station (Meeting #6)

The Girl Scout Troop went to the local fire station for meeting 6. the girls got to learn the sciences and technologies fire fighters have to be trained. The fire fighters have to learn about medicines, medical procedures, and medical treatment. They also have to learn all the procedures for fires and car crashes.

Meeting 5

On Meeting 5, we focused on earthquake preparedness. The girls learned about what should be in an earthquake and first-aid kit. They also learned how to prepare a splint. Our leader taught us the proper technique to do when a person is choking. We learned how to act during an earthquake and demonstated behavior. The girls had fun learning new things.
